Here you can get a brief insight of some projects I worked on the last 4 years during my studies in Augsburg and my international studies in the Netherlands and Malaysia.

Raphael Frühauf

About me: I like being creative and rethinking conventions. My keen eye for identifying poor user experience design drives my work and studies. This is why I study and work in the fields of Human Computer Interaction Design, User Experience Design and Web Accessiblity.

I gained many years of experience as a technical system planner, combined with expertise in graphics and marketing of renewable energy systems. This has shaped my pragmatic approach to tackling new challenges.

Let’s collaborate to bring design and development together!

Digitale Dorfchroniken

They had lain untouched for twenty years: farm & family chronicles and photographs that recount the eventful history of the Bavarian village of Stadelhofen over a period of 550 years, unpublished and inaccessible to anyone. This project brings them to light – with the help of large language models and an interactive web application that guides users on an exploratory journey through farms, families and generations, rather than presenting them in a linear, book-like format. It demonstrates, methodologically, how even small villages can digitally preserve and make their own history accessible.

If you are interested in making your own local history accessible online using this new method, or have ideas for the project: info@digitale-dorfchronik.de

This was my masters product 2026 at University of Applied Sciences Augsburg and I am currently bringing this passion project to life.
